House Colours

Keysborough Primary School proudly acknowledges that we learn, play and grow together on Bunurong Country.

Our four school houses in 2026 are inspired by the language and stories of the Bunurong people, reflecting the rich natural and cultural heritage of this land.

The Year Six school leaders came together to short list new names for the school sport houses.

They had a list of Bunurong names of animals to choose from. At a lunchtime meeting they shortlisted and then they met with Uncle Josh West to go through the list.

He was able to guide the leaders informing them of names they could use and then the pronunciations and correct spelling of the new names. The 4 house colours will stay the same.

Our new House Team Leaders for 2026 will be creating some new art graphics to go with the names. They with the other leaders will draft new chants incorporating the names as well.
